Your roofing partner

From the first set of plans
to the next project.

When you are managing a build, the roofing needs to fit with everything around it. We work with you on the scope, interfaces and sequence so you know what is included and what needs to be ready.

Our work ranges from compact garden-room roofs and residential extensions to larger, more detailed new builds. Based in the Poole and Bournemouth area, we work across Dorset and Hampshire and consider suitable projects throughout the South.

For the technical specification, explore our single-ply roofing systems. If the job involves an existing roof, see repairs and re-roofing.

Working together

Clear scope.
Coordinated work.

We discuss the practical details early, from the deck and roof build-up to access, rooflights and the trades working alongside us.

01

Review the roof package

Send the drawings or arrange a site visit. We look at the build-up, rooflights, drainage and adjoining details, and flag questions before installation.

02

Agree the scope

We set out the system, work included and price. Access, substrate preparation and responsibilities between trades are discussed before the start.

03

Coordinate the installation

We agree timing around site readiness and the wider programme, keeping in touch as the work moves towards the roofing stage.

04

Complete the details

Membrane junctions, outlets and roofline finishes receive the same attention as the main roof area, with any remaining items discussed at completion.

Before we start

A few practical
questions.

Can you quote from drawings?

Yes. Email the drawings, site postcode, proposed roof specification and target dates. If something needs checking on site or clarifying before we can price the work, we will let you know.

Can you take on the roofline as well as the membrane?

Yes. Depending on the agreed scope, we can include insulation, vapour control, membrane waterproofing, drip trims, fascias and soffits. We confirm what Monos will supply and install, and what needs to be ready beforehand.

Do you work with small builders and carpenters?

Yes. Extensions and garden rooms are an important part of our work, alongside larger new-build and commercial roofs. We welcome enquiries from builders and carpenters looking for a roofing team for their current job and future projects.

How far ahead should we get in touch?

As soon as you have drawings or a likely programme. Early contact gives us time to discuss the details and availability. Start dates are agreed for each project, taking site readiness and weather into account.
