Anthony's Avenue / Lilliput, PooleSingle-ply specialists
Single-ply is at the centre of what we do. We install complete warm-roof and membrane waterproofing packages, with close attention to vapour control, insulation, falls, fixings and every junction that keeps the roof performing properly.
That same care carries through rooflights, outlets, box gutters, parapets, penetrations and interfaces with adjoining roof coverings. We work from plans or visit site, identify potential issues early and set out a clear specification before installation begins.
Where it works
The right membrane, fixing method and build-up depend on the project. We provide a practical specification that fits the roof design rather than treating every job the same.

Single-ply systems coordinated with the wider roof package, programme and adjoining trades.
Dependable membrane installations for larger roof areas, multiple outlets and detailed layouts.
Carefully assessed refurbishment options, including compatible overlay systems where the existing build-up allows.
Approved installation
As approved contractors for Alwitra, Siltec and Protan, we can recommend a system around the substrate, roof geometry, programme and required finish. Depending on the specification, membranes can be mechanically fixed, bonded or self-adhered.
Project evidence
Two different residential projects showing how the membrane work is adapted to the roof, surrounding construction and level of detailing required.

A mechanically fixed Siltec warm-roof installation incorporating a vapour-control layer, 150mm insulation, two rooflights, two box gutters, outlets and carefully formed parapet details.

A live new-build project where the flat-roof waterproofing had to coordinate cleanly with rooflights, pitched roof areas and perimeter junctions. Early detail review and sequencing helped keep the different roof elements working together.
Common questions
Single-ply roofing uses a flexible, purpose-made membrane to waterproof flat and low-pitched roofs. It is well suited to extensions, new builds, commercial roofs and refurbishment work because it can be formed neatly around rooflights, outlets, gutters and upstands.
Monos Roofing is an approved contractor for Alwitra, Siltec and Protan. We select the system and fixing method around the roof design, substrate, build-up and manufacturer requirements.
Manufacturer-backed warranties of up to 25 years are available on suitable specifications, including IBW options. The warranty offered depends on the selected system and project requirements.
We are based in the Bournemouth and Poole area and regularly work across Dorset and Hampshire, including Ringwood and Southampton. We also travel across southern England for the right project.
